LECO Unveils New Booth at Pittcon 2009; Continues To See Automation Drive the Future of Laboratory Instrumentation

LECO debuted a new 40 x 40 exhibit at the Pittcon show this year. Since the conclusion of Pittcon 2008, LECO has been working with exhibit houses around the country to develop a booth design reflective of the company's image as a global high-tech instrumentation company built on the principles of family values. The new 1600 sq. foot booth illustrated LECO’s comprehensive analytical instrument solutions and its global reach to markets and labs.

The dramatic design featured a customer-inviting layout, clean lines, soft lighting, and four aptly placed kiosks displaying one instrument on each of two sides. A corporate video was displayed on flat-panel televisions embedded into the outside of each kiosk. Individual instrument information was displayed on separate monitors placed next to each instrument. An illuminated over-head banner made it easy to find the LECO booth from any location on the show floor.

As the analytical industry continues to demand instrumentation that increases productivity by reducing downtime, LECO has made it a priority to develop new products that save time and money through the use of automation. ChromaTOF® 4.20, the latest version of our fully-automated data analysis and operation software for Separation Science, adds a number of time-saving tools such as peak markers and labeling, and Statistical Compare functionality. A new Process Loader for the CS600 integrates sample holding the industrial process with the analytical process. The new TruMac Macro Elemental Determinator—designed for macro samples between 1 and 3 g—will be available with a solid autoloader as well.
