New Coal CRMs
LECO is now offering QAR (Quality Assurance Resources LLC) Coal Certified Reference Material (CRM). QAR Coal CRM certificate values and uncertainties are confirmed and validated by the Quality Associates Internatioanl, LTD (Canada) Proficiency Testing program (CANSPEX-™) which includes up to 132 coal testing laboratories from around the world. In addition to the parameter values listed in the table below, the CRMs also have certificate values for the following parameters—sulfur forms, chlorine, flourine, selenium, and FSI (see organic supplies catalog for additional information).

New Pure Chemical Standard
LECO has added the pure chemical BBOT (C26H26N2OS) to the existing pure chemical standard offerings. BBOT has a relatively high carbon (72.5% C) content and is ideal for use in calibrating organic combustion CHN instruments for use in fuel applications.

New Nickel Boats for TruMac N/CN instruments (625-505-430, 50/pk)
New reusable nickel boats for use with the TruMac N/CN. For use as a lower cost alternative to the use of ceramic boat and disposable nickel liner when analyzing an aqueous sample. No loader adjustments are required on the TruMac, and nickel and ceramic boats can be interchanged during a continuous analysis batch. Nickel boats can be reused for more than 100 analysis cycles in typical aqueous sample applications.
Notes for TruMac N/CN nickel boat users
- Maximum furnace operating temperature of 1100°C
- Intended for aqueous sample and high moisture sample matrices
- Maximum sample mass of 0.75 for dry pure chemical reference materials
