Description
The Spectrum System 1000 is an 8-inch, dual-design grinder/polisher. It’s available as either a manual stand-alone base unit, or with a grinding/polishing head for semi-automatic sample preparation. The powerful 3/4 HP motor drives both 8-inch wheels simultaneously. Adding the head assembly and an optional dispenser maximizes efficiency and throughput.

Integrated Timer
The Spectrum System 1000 integrates a timer that monitors grinding and polishing times, and eliminates the concern and expense of over-grinding or over-polishing. This stand-alone capability allows the operator to walk away to perform other tasks.
The Spectrum System 1000 provides simple one-button control for low-to high-range operation. Low range covers timed procedures from 30 seconds to three minutes; high range settings apply to steps longer than four minutes.
