Im Laufe der Jahre wurde die additive Fertigung weiterentwickelt und verfeinert. Es konnten mehr Materialien verwendet werden, was eine Welt voller M\u00f6glichkeiten er\u00f6ffnete. Die Vorteile der additiven Fertigung waren f\u00fcr bestimmte Branchen wie die Luftfahrtindustrie \u00e4u\u00dferst attraktiv. Mit der additiven Fertigung konnten Teile hergestellt werden, die zuvor undurchf\u00fchrbar gewesen w\u00e4ren, wie etwa hohle Teile mit inneren St\u00fctzstrukturen, um das Gewicht erheblich zu reduzieren, ohne die Festigkeit oder Integrit\u00e4t des Teils zu beeintr\u00e4chtigen, wodurch beispielsweise die Effizienz eines Triebwerks gesteigert wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die additive Fertigung ist bei all ihren Vorteilen und ihrem Wachstum kein perfekter, unfehlbarer Prozess, und eine strenge Qualit\u00e4tskontrolle der hergestellten Teile ist nach wie vor von gr\u00f6\u00dfter Bedeutung.
