Characterization of Extractables and Leachables From Single-Use Plastic Water Bottles with GC-TOFMS

Characterize extractable and leachable chemical compounds from single-use PET water bottles using a GC-TOFMS workflow. The study combines Pegasus BTX and Pegasus HRT systems to identify processing additives, contaminants, degradation products, and other non-intentionally added substances (NIAS). High-sensitivity and high-resolution mass spectrometry data support both library-based identifications and unknown compound annotation.
