Los suelos con un alto contenido de COT indican altos niveles de biodiversidad, ya que el carbono org\u00e1nico alimenta la actividad microbiana. Esta biodiversidad mejorada es incre\u00edblemente beneficiosa para el suelo. Impulsa el ciclo de nutrientes y la supresi\u00f3n natural de enfermedades, al tiempo que contribuye a la fertilidad general del suelo y a la productividad de las plantas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">La biodiversidad del suelo tambi\u00e9n conduce a una mejor retenci\u00f3n de agua. El carbono org\u00e1nico une las part\u00edculas del suelo para formar agregados estables, lo que mejora la estructura general del suelo y le permite retener m\u00e1s agua. Esta haza\u00f1a fomenta la salud general de las plantas y el secuestro de carbono. Sin embargo, los suelos con bajo contenido de carbono org\u00e1nico total (COT) experimentan una biodiversidad limitada, lo que genera una estructura de suelo deficiente, mayores cantidades de erosi\u00f3n y menores rendimientos de los cultivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2-style\">Los desaf\u00edos de determinar el COT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es importante que los interesados en la industria agr\u00edcola presten especial atenci\u00f3n a los niveles de COT en sus suelos si quieren aprovechar al m\u00e1ximo sus cultivos. Conocer los niveles de COT ayuda a evitar la adici\u00f3n ciega de nutrientes al suelo, lo que potencialmente reduce la mano de obra y los costos innecesarios. Sin embargo, analizar el suelo en busca de COT conlleva sus propios desaf\u00edos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por ejemplo, distinguir con precisi\u00f3n entre carbono org\u00e1nico e inorg\u00e1nico requiere una separaci\u00f3n efectiva de las especies de carbono durante el an\u00e1lisis. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leco.com\/es\/instrumento\/carbono-multifasico-en-agua\/\" data-type=\"instrument\" data-id=\"2261\">El RC612 de LECO resuelve este reto<\/a> a trav\u00e9s de su m\u00e9todo de diferenciaci\u00f3n de temperatura, controlando con precisi\u00f3n las condiciones de oxidaci\u00f3n y descomposici\u00f3n para cuantificar selectivamente las fracciones de carbono. Alternativamente, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leco.com\/es\/instrumento\/analizadores-de-carbono-y-azufre\/\" data-type=\"instrument\" data-id=\"2231\">el m\u00e9todo de pretratamiento con \u00e1cido del C832<\/a> garantiza la eliminaci\u00f3n confiable de carbono inorg\u00e1nico antes de la combusti\u00f3n para una medici\u00f3n precisa del carbono org\u00e1nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">Estos enfoques ayudan a mitigar los desaf\u00edos comunes, como la eliminaci\u00f3n incompleta de carbonatos, la heterogeneidad de la muestra o la oxidaci\u00f3n incompleta. Si bien una preparaci\u00f3n cuidadosa de la muestra sigue siendo importante, aprovechar instrumentos dise\u00f1ados espec\u00edficamente para gestionar estas variables es clave para lograr resultados de COT precisos y reproducibles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2-style\">Conf\u00eda en LECO para tu TOC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los investigadores e ingenieros de LECO han trabajado arduamente para ofrecer continuamente instrumentos que cumplan o superen el rendimiento esperado. De este modo, obtenemos los valores de carbono tanto mineral como org\u00e1nico (CT\/COT\/CIT).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLo que era menos com\u00fan era aplicar un enfoque similar al azufre. Las normas existentes relacionadas con el azufre se centran principalmente en el carb\u00f3n, pero no en los suelos.
