The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leco.com\/es\/instrumento\/cromatografo-de-gases-acoplado-a-espectrometro-de-masas-de-tiempo-de-vuelo-de-sobremesa\/\" data-type=\"instrument\" data-id=\"2168\">Pegasus BTX<\/a> is the newest instrument addition to LECO\u2019s line of separation science instruments manufactured in St. Joseph, Michigan (USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2-style\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--2-xl)\">What is the Pegasus BTX?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a highly sensitive mass spectrometer, the BTX helps keep consumer items safe and reliable by analyzing the chemical makeup of everyday products. Voters may cast one vote per day. The first round of voting ends 17 September and will determine the top 10 products. A second round of voting will then commence from 28 September\u20137 October to determine the top three finalists. The manufacturers of the top three will be invited to attend the Manufacturing Excellence Awards event, where the winner will then be announced. This award is given annually by the<a href=\"https:\/\/mimfg.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mimfg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Michigan Manufacturers Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any product made in Michigan is eligible for nomination. This is LECO\u2019s first-ever nomination.
