Du mat\u00e9riau brut, on retirait des portions pour obtenir les r\u00e9sultats souhait\u00e9s. Cependant, dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, une nouvelle r\u00e9volution industrielle a commenc\u00e9. La conception assist\u00e9e par ordinateur (CAO) a pu guider des lasers point\u00e9s sur du plastique liquide, le fusionnant en plastique solide. Au fil des ans, la fabrication additive a fait l'objet d'it\u00e9rations et a \u00e9t\u00e9 perfectionn\u00e9e. Un plus grand nombre de mat\u00e9riaux a pu \u00eatre utilis\u00e9, ouvrant un monde de possibilities. De grandes entreprises technologiques ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des instruments capables d'effectuer de l'impression additive ou fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de pi\u00e8ces imprim\u00e9es en 3D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 mesure que les premiers brevets expiraient, un plus grand nombre d'entreprises ont pu entrer sur le march\u00e9 de la fabrication additive, entra\u00eenant un essor du d\u00e9veloppement et des connaissances. Les avantages de la fabrication additive se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9s extr\u00eamement attrayants pour certains secteurs, comme l'industrie a\u00e9ronautique. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la fabrication additive, il est devenu possible de fabriquer des pi\u00e8ces qui auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 impossibles \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser auparavant, telles que des pi\u00e8ces creuses dot\u00e9es de treillis de support int\u00e9rieurs permettant de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement le poids sans sacrifier la r\u00e9sistance ou l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de la pi\u00e8ce, augmentant ainsi l'efficacit\u00e9 d'un r\u00e9acteur d'avion, par exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malgr\u00e9 tous ses avantages et sa croissance, la fabrication additive n'est pas un processus parfait et infaillible, et il est plus important que jamais d'assurer un contr\u00f4le de qualit\u00e9 rigoureux des pi\u00e8ces fabriqu\u00e9es. Des techniques d'analyse telles que la spectroscopie \u00e0 d\u00e9charge luminescente permettent une analyse globale et un profilage quantitatif en profondeur des mat\u00e9riaux, afin d'obtenir une compr\u00e9hension compl\u00e8te de la composition \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire et de s'assurer que les couches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 superpos\u00e9es correctement.
