Folded Flight Path with Pegasus GC-HRT

<p>Explore the evolution and performance advantages of high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS). Resolving power, critical for distinguishing ions with nearly identical mass-to-charge ratios, can be enhanced by extending ion flight paths rather than narrowing peak widths. Traditional TOFMS designs rely on linear or reflectron analyzers, but increasing resolution typically requires much larger instruments and results in significant ion losses.</p>
