Unlock The Power Of GCxGC-TOFMS/FID For Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis

Mineral Oil Hydrocarbons (MOH), comprising MOSH (saturated) and MOAH (aromatic) fractions, pose significant safety concerns in food and consumer products due to their potential toxicity and widespread occurrence. Accurate detection and quantification are critical for effective risk assessment and regulatory compliance. In this this presentation we will explore the advanced capabilities of LECO’s Two-Dimensional Gas Chromatography coupled with Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry and Flame Ionization Detection (GC×GC-TOFMS/FID) in MOSH/MOAH analysis. By combining enhanced chromatographic resolution and dual detection modes, GC×GC-TOFMS/FID enables precise separation, identification, and quantification of complex hydrocarbon mixtures across diverse matrices.
